With everything going on its important for us to rehash the learnings of our younger years. With this in mind we want to go through a few steps to help minimise the length of time you're sick with the flu and cold, especially during the winter season.

1. Get some rest.

Medication is great at helping you get better, but what your body really needs is some good old fashioned sleep. So rug up and close your eyes and let your body do the amazing job of healing itself.

2. Cover your mouth and nose

Stop the spread of germs and all the nasties by covering your mouth or nose when you sneeze or cough, with your elbow sleeve or preferably a tissue. keeping others safe is your responsibility as well. We all need to look after one another.

3. Wash away the nasties

Washing your hands is easy, and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs. Clean hands can stop germs from spreading from one person to another and throughout an entire community—from your home and workplace to childcare facilities and hospitals.

4. Can't wash?? Sanitise...

Sanitisers are a great alternative when you can't wash your hands, we stock a great range of sanitisers perfect for home or on the go. Check them out now here.

5. Boost your immune system

Vitamin C is a great way to give your immune system a little bit more oomph! Here are a great range of foods that have Vitamin C in them:

  • blackcurrants.
  • citrus fruits – oranges, limes and lemons.
  • berries.
  • kiwifruit.
  • tomatoes.
  • broccoli.
  • sprouts.
  • red, yellow and green capsicum.
